Apple Pie Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps. (50 ml) Maple Syrup
2 Tbsps. (32g) Almond Butter
1 Cooking Apple (150g cored), peeled and chopped
80g Porridge Oats
180ml Whole Milk
1 Tbsp. (10g) Chia Seeds
2 Tsp. (3g) Ground Cinnamon
1 Tsp. (5ml) Vanilla Essence
Method:
To a saucepan add chopped apples, cinnamon and 1/2 the maple syrup, mix to evenly distribute.
Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until the apples are soft and tender.
In a bowl, mix the milk, chia seeds, remaining maple syrup, cinnamon, almond butter, vanilla and oats until well-combined.
Layer the apple mixture followed by the oats until divided between all containers and topping off with apple.
Refrigerate overnight.
