Spicy Stir-Fried Brussel Sprouts

Easy.

Cooking and preparation time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. Oil

  • 1 Shallot

  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh root ginger (finely diced)

  • 4-5 Garlic cloves (finely diced)

  • 720g Brussel sprouts (halved)

  • 1 Tsp. Sesame oil

  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds

  • 2 Tsp. Soy sauce

  • 1-2 Green and red chillies (finely chopped)

Method:

  1. Place the sesame seeds onto a suitable oven tray and roast at 180c.

  2. Heat the sunflower oil in a suitable pan and lightly fry the ginger, garlic, chillies & shallots.

  3. Add the sprouts and cook until slightly softened, add the sesame oil and soy sauce and cook for a further minute.

  4. Place Brussels mix in a suitable serving vessel and scatter over the toasted sesame seeds.
